Would you like to be treated like a princess once entering a fashion store? Would you like to sit comfortably on a leather couch, and drink a glass of champagne or delicious coffee, served by a friendly shop assistant? Can you imagine a place where you can ask for an advise from fashion stylist or chit chat with other ladies during one of many fashion events, happening there? Considering Hungarian customer care all of this sounds like a dream. But dreams do come true! One of them is happening right now.
Vogue Gallery, which operates as a fashion concept store, finally opened its door in Budapest! It’s definitely a new fashion mecca for those, who have been looking for trendy and high quality pieces in Hungarian capital. This place creates an exciting space for all fashion conscious people who look for unique designs but also want to be part of bigger fashion community. Vogue Gallery has in its portfolio several Bulgarian designers, who offer evening dresses, colorful sporty clothes, great leather bags or unique jewellery and accessories.
On the top of that Vogue Gallery offers exclusive lingerie from top brands such as: Aubade, BON BON, L’Agent by Agent Provocateur, Moschino, Heidi Klum or Pleasure State. I need to admit that this is a totally new thing in the Hungarian fashion market, you won’t be able to find such an extensive offer in any other store. Nothing would have been possible, if we would not have a super energetic master mind behind it! Dani Zdravkova – a Vogue Gallery owner is a real globetrotter. Her true love for fashion and several years of experience in fashion industry resulted in opening posh lingerie store in Bulgaria and later on concept store with high end fashion brands in Budapest. I had a great pleasure to have a little chat with Dani and her passion for fashion, travel and art truly got me!
What was the first impulse to open Vogue Gallery and why in Budapest?
Dani: I love fashion and I feel there is a gap in Budapest for the individual style different from H&M and Zara.
Vogue Gallery is not an ordinary fashion boutique but also works as a concept store, what type of service you offer which is different from any other fashion stores here in Budapest?
Dani: My concept store offers shoppers different types of products with one centralized theme. It cultivates an experience that cannot be re-created online. Handpicked items are specially selected from different brands and designers, and they usually span different lines, such as fashion, beauty and others. The main point about concept stores is the creation of a pleasing environment combined with excellent service. Like each gallery, we want to represent “the art” of our designers in an attractive and interesting way. Vogue Gallery will be like a home for these designers, where they can have space to showcase their fantastic work. We are carefully and personally selecting the designers of fashion clothes and accessories, that are unique and you can’t see them in any other place in Budapest. For us it is really important to transform the act of shopping into something more and to have the capacity to surprise our clients every day.
You work with Bulgarian fashion/accessories designers – how do you select them and how often we can expect new collections?
Dani: Bulgaria is not a big player on the world fashion stage, but it has designers whose creativity and talent might surprise you. Knapp is a Bulgarian fashion label focused on the made-to-measure concept. The two designers behind it, Antonia Yordanova and Kristina Butchvarova, have been influenced by the ’50s fashion of the last century and often use emblematic silhouettes from that period as a base for their feminine, delicate clothes. We are expecting their new collection soon in the store.
Vogue Gallery offers exclusive lingerie from many high end brands – did you notice lack of such products on Hungarian fashion market?
Dani: Absolutely! There are no high end lingerie brands in Hungary. Also our motto is: STOP WEARING UNDERWEAR AND START WEARING LINGERIE!
What are the future plans for Vogue Gallery? Can we expect to see some of the collections on the runway?
Dani: Future plans are to expand the portfolio with the designers and to add more fascinating events in our portfolio.
The Vogue story is not over yet! In July issue of The Spoiled Queen magazine you will be able to see beautiful advertorial, which will present few pieces from the latest collections available in the store.
