I met Sheila by chance, or maybe it wasn’t chance at all, just one of those things you somehow attract when it’s been brewing in your mind for a while. Sheila is a Venezuelan entrepreneur based in Madrid for the past eight years, and after only one conversation during our interview, I could tell — this woman knows exactly what she wants and is unapologetically going after it.

She began her entrepreneurial journey years ago and is now the director of Sheel Real Estate SL, a luxury boutique she founded five years ago that manages premium hotel investment assets across Spain and abroad. But this article isn’t about real estate — it’s about her other creation: Dark Femenine Energy, a private, ultra-exclusive club for women entrepreneurs and leaders who want to rewrite the rulebook on success.

The club is very selective — definitely not for everyone, but if you’re a woman who knows what she wants, you’ll feel right at home. DFE blends networking and business events with a strong dose of leisure and self-care. We’re talking here about luxe retreats in 16th-century châteaux in Bordeaux, hot-air balloon rides at sunrise, and picnics in vineyards.

They also host masterclasses on personal branding, leadership, and digitalization — all while helping women connect with “powerful women from around the world.”

When I met Sheila in her showroom in Madrid, she told me, “DFE represents a constant challenge for me; it came into my life when I wasn’t looking for it. I created it almost without realizing how much I needed it.”  I wanted to dig deeper, so we sat down for a chat where I could learn more about the main idea, purpose, and ambitions behind the DFE club.

Sheila, what inspired you to create Dark Femenine Energy?

Sheila Gómez

Dark Femenine Energy was born from the desire to create a space where women could develop themselves in a holistic way. After years working in the investment sector, I felt the need for an environment where women could connect from authenticity and ambition, but also from wellbeing.

How do you define success within the club?

Success in Dark Femenine Energy is not measured solely by business achievements, but by the balance between purpose, growth, and community. We aim for our members to feel fulfilled in all dimensions of their lives, and to find inspiration and support from other women who are also leading their own paths.

What kind of women do you look for?

We look for women with vision, sensitivity, and determination. Entrepreneurs, professionals, or founders who wish to surround themselves with other women who share similar values: elegance, self-awareness, and commitment to personal and professional growth.

How does DFE help balance ambition with well-being?

Through a holistic approach: we offer workshops, networking, trips, and retreats designed to cultivate both professional success and inner balance. We understand that ambition and well-being are not opposites, but allies when lived consciously.

I found the motto of your club — ‘Those of us who have it clear, won’t buy someone else’s dream’  very interesting and, in a way, quite intriguing. How does this philosophy influence the way you lead and build community?

This motto reflects our essence. We do not seek to fit into imposed narratives. At Dark Femenine Energy, we defend authenticity, autonomy, and clarity of purpose. Leading from this principle means fostering a community where each woman feels free to define her own success.

How does Dark Femenine Energy challenge traditional notions of success and femininity?

We believe that femininity, in all its forms, can coexist with leadership. Our goal is to redefine success from a non-monolithic, conscious, and powerful feminine energy.

One of your upcoming events in Barcelona is Luminous Core: Pilates, Matcha & Social Brunch. It seems you have an incredible lineup of partners—could you tell us a bit more about what to expect from this event?

Luminous Core is a wellness experience created with the intention of bringing the spirit of Dark Femenine Energy to Barcelona and offering the women of the city a different encounter: elegant, conscious, and high-level.

The event is held in collaboration with the supplement brand Ghabits, founded by Dr. Patricia Martins, with whom we share the vision of promoting holistic female well-being and health from a scientific and holistic approach.

We will have the main sponsorship of Lelo, a pioneering brand in female sexual wellness, represented by Valerie Tasso, a sexologist with a remarkable career. She will offer an intimate and educational session on conscious sexuality.

Additionally, Luminous Core will include a Pilates session, integrative medicine, and LED mask treatments, followed by a networking space accompanied by finger food, matcha, and DJ vibes.

The idea is to combine movement, self-care, and social connection in a curated and sophisticated environment, where attendees can not only relax but also create synergies and new professional opportunities.

I’ll be attending the event and writing a follow-up piece on my experience (I’m especially curious about the Valerie Tasso talk — my girlfriends and I have had plenty of late-night conversations about that topic lately).

If you’d like to join, you can sign up here. Don’t forget to mention you’re  ’ The Spoiled Queen’ reader.

I’m genuinely happy to see something like DFE bringing fresh, feminine power to Madrid and Barcelona — where business meets pleasure and women can simply enjoy who they are, no titles needed.

Stay tuned for part two of this story! In the meantime, follow DFE on Instagram and don’t forget to check out their website.

Tell me, ladies — would you join a club like this if it existed in your city?
