Two weeks traveling from south to north, packed with more adventures than ever before. Just four days in a Galician village, but filled with a million experiences, including countless kilometers of walking through forests and Galician villages. No tourists, just Gallegos and their incredible kindness. These were the best four days I’ve had in a long time. If you remember my nomadic magazines, the purpose has always been to discover truly local experiences, connect with locals, and embrace their culture. When everyone goes right, go left—that’s where the magic happens. I already know that Galicia is my second home🖤🌳🐄

The bike saga is officially over and here is just a casual bike outfit 🤣 Madrileños could you please recommend safe bike routes in Madrid in the comments? Compared to Budapest - where you could cycle around the entire city, not always sober 😜 (shout out to the Budapest crew and our legendary A38 boat parties!) - I feel like I need to wear a full suit of armor here 🤦♀️
On May 8th, I will be hosting a Capsule Wardrobe Masterclass for Men at @art_salon_contemporary in Budapest. During the event, you'll have the chance to try hands-on styling, buy from featured brands, and talk directly with the designers. The event starts at 19:30, but doors open at 19:00. This is an invitation-only event, so if you wish to attend, please send me a direct message. I hope to see you all there! I will have a little gift for you and some surprises too! ✌️😁🔥
These two are the reason why I live in Madrid. People often ask me why I moved to Spain, and I always come back to the story when I was 13 years old and randomly watched one of the early Almodóvar movies on Polish TV. I have been obsessed with this country ever since, not to mention I've watched all Almodóvar movies, and Rossy de Palma and Carmen Maura are forever my favorite Spanish actresses. Today, I went to Sala Canal de Isabel II to see the exhibition of Jordi Socias, a great Spanish photographer. There have been a lot of ups and downs in my life lately, and many moments of serious doubts, but his exhibition was a great reminder of why I moved to Spain in the first place. For me, life in Madrid is like an Almodóvar movie; nothing quite makes sense, but it's freaking hilarious. Sometimes you just need to wait 23 years to make your dream come true, so never give up 🖤.
Full house during yesterday’s Capsule Wardrobe Masterclass! Thank you so much for coming and enjoying our event! Hope you are more than ever motivated to make a little changes in your shopping habits! 😂 Big thanks to @art_salon_contemporary for hosting us in its incredible interiors and @awear.store_hungary for providing sustainable clothes for this event! 💕 Would you like to attend such event in Madrid?
At the end of 2022, I purchased the Notes to Mindfulness Journal, which turned out to be the best purchase I made that year. Although I use it as a journal, it can also be a great tool to overcome compulsive shopping, which can occur when shopping becomes a habit to deal with stress or emotions. I have written an article about this issue, and you can find the link in my bio. You can use this journal to set certain goals, such as cleaning out your wardrobe and keeping only the clothes that you wear. Write down all the steps, and pour your thoughts into it every time you face emotional triggers, such as stress and anxiety, before you decide to go shopping, to reduce the symptoms. On a related note, I have been living a minimalist life for many years now, and my wardrobe is extremely small. I do not have many personal belongings either. I truly believe in a circular economy, and as such, I started a Facebook group in 2017 where I sell or give away my clothes and accessories. Today, the group has more than 3K active users. Last year, I created a similar group in Madrid, which is also growing. Before I moved out of Budapest, I gave away most of my possessions, including clothes, to people in need. If you feel the urge to buy new clothes that you don’t need, make sure to sell the clothes you are not wearing or donate them to someone who needs them. Remember, it’s not the number of clothes you own that makes you look stylish, but how you pair them. I am the best example of a fashion professional who owns very little. Check out my latest article to get started. And remember, every small step counts when it comes to mindful shopping! ✨🖤
Tarifa Chic: A Coastal Retreat of Sun, Sea, and Style. “The Things We Do in the Darkness” After 16 years in the game, it's wild to think I'm still getting invites to those secret underground parties via e-mail.. The kind that started in abandoned Brooklyn warehouses, where the beats echoed off the walls and the night never seemed to end. These parties stay true to their roots - no Instagram, no Facebook, no posters in the city, just pure, rave vibes. If you're in the know, you're in.🤫✨ Here are some pics from the last time I went in and it’s quite shocking I still have them on my pendrive 🤦♀️😂.
Ok, so it's official! I have finally found a gem in Madrid that's giving off major Brooklyn vibes! ☕🥐 The flat white served here is a mini paradise and the pastries could start a foodie revolution! Plus the kindest service in the city! I moved my culo all the way from Chamberi to Rasto and I suggest you do the same! @novomundo.es is your new spot! 🖤
I am happy to announce my new series, “Fashion in the City”, where I will showcase various fashion styles and their corresponding hangouts in Madrid, and possibly other cities in the future. As fashion is often intertwined with art, music, and design, this series will offer a glimpse into how they coexist. Check it out and let me know what do you think! 🖤🫣 Link to article in my bio!

Why I started to hate online shopping? 🛍 It has been a long while since I wrote such a long article about online fashion shopping. I must tell you that the joy that online shopping supposed to give you turned into quite a drama and small injuries (I accidentally cut my fingers while trying to tape the box that I needed to return). Check out my latest article and leave a comment with your experience! I am really curious! Link to article in my bio (tab Fashion&Travel articles) 💣💥

I keep receiving more and more questions about surfing from people who never tried this sport but really want to do it. As some of you know I spent a week in a surf villa in the end of December where I was collecting all useful info about this discipline and surf community in general. This is one of the value added of my magazine where I will travel 3000 km to have the firsthand experience which I can later on share with other people (you need to have a sense of adventure in your blood in order to do that 😆). If you want to try surfing but you don’t know where to start check out the Portugal issue. We have devoted 16(!) pages to this topic where you will find all useful info! Magazine is totally for free so enjoy it and spread the word! Link to magazine in my bio 🏄♀️☀️
I can finally share with you the project I have been working on lately. Now you can meet me in person during our fashion hunting tour in Budapest! This is an exclusive chance to visit a selection of the best ateliers&fashion stores in the city! During the tour I provide styling advise on how to put a great outfit together according to your body type and personal preferences. If you are not in the city but still need a fashion advise you can book my virtual styling service too! And here is also a good info for all guys who want to experiment a bit with fashion - I have been working quite extensively on finding the best online and offline stores for you as I can truly imagine how hard is to find decent clothes when 3/4 of the store space is occupied by women’s wear. Check out link in my bio to find out more about my services! Can’t wait to see you online or offline! 🥳

“The old and rough vibe of the city, with its decadent buildings and low light alleys, suddenly gave space to flashy hotels, renovated AirBnb apartments and fine dining. I remember seeing these changes as the years went by.” @capnunes_ shared his memories about Lisbon and other parts of Portugal in my latest magazine. If you want to know how the city has changed through the years read “The Portugal issue”! Link in my bio 🖤 Credit: @capnunes_
The Spoiled Queen magazine - ‘The Portugal issue’ is out! It took three months to produce and this issue would not have been possible without the amazing team of people who joined in to create these 130 pages along the way. I would like to thank my dear friend Aramis @designliebe who shared this adventure with me and who designed the cover of this issue and contributed articles and graphic design. Roger @reorientdesign for being the best and the toughest teacher I have ever had plus for being the best production editor you could ask for, @einarowski for taking care of online version (without him this magazine would not exist), @ania_jopp for providing the best analog photography (and saving my ass multiple times) @jessinbudapest for enhancing the text and making it beautiful (you won’t find a better proofreader) Claudio @capnunes_ for giving fantastic insights about Portuguese culture, habits and showing me the best sunset and @hamtheillustrator for providing great illustration and giving hope to all creative souls by sharing his own story. I would like to say a huge thank you to all my partners who provided me shelter in Portugal and contributed their local stories. Finally, I would like to thank myself for never giving up. I hope you enjoy reading this magazine and I believe you will all want to visit Portugal and it’s wonderful people as soon as it’s possible again! Share your comments! Link to magazine in my bio! 🥳
As many of you know I have been running The Spoiled Queen website for 10 years and I supported local gastronomy and fashion scene of Budapest and Hungary for free. Since 2016 I have been running an online magazine which has been devoted to broadly defined travel, fashion and art. Nowadays, it is becoming a travel journal where I am always trying to show you selected bars, food joints and fashion stores. You can expect a lot of great interviews with locals since I always want to feature various cities or regions through their lens. All of this would not be possible without the people who help me make this magazine more creative and who make sure that it's got high quality content. Since there is quite a lot of expenses behind the scene (photographers, illustrators, production editor, web developer) and the magazine is totally for free I would like to ask you for a bit of support. If you like what I do and would love to see even better content developed by a great team, feel free to show your support by buying a cup of coffee by clicking on the link in my bio. Every cup counts! 🖤🙏 Credit: @arwinfernandez
After weeks of extensive work magazine is ready! We are designing now front and back cover and I guess by the end of March you will be able to read about our Portugal adventure! At the same time there will be serious changes on my website and here is the question to all of you! What would you like to read in the future? What content is the most interesting for you? Please drop me an email (info@thespoiledqueen.com)or comment under this post! Your opinion matters! I might send a personalized gift to some of you! Credit: @ania_jopp
There is currently a lockdown in Budapest however you can still get some inspirations and better mood by checking pages devoted to creative websites in my latest magazine! If you like the content and want me to keep going I would appreciate a little support by buying me a coffee! There is a donation button available on my website. Every forint counts! Link to magazine in my bio 🦙🖤☀️

Another week and another artist worth to follow. @paoloraeli is a photographer and poet born and raised in Palermo. I’m obsessed with his sentimental photos mostly representing his friends, road trips and beautiful Italian landscape. His nostalgic photography and videos combined with short poems about love, youth and friendship is a unique visual experience.
Summer in Budapest - new issue of The Spoiled Queen magazine is out! It's a special edition where in the extensive Editor's note I'm summarizing my 10 years of being in this city. To celebrate a decade of living in mystical Budapest, I have decided to share part of this issue with other like-minded people, who have done a tremendous job providing the best insights about this city. I would like to thank @likelocalsofficial for providing great articles about Budapest and other cities in Hungary, @pokusana for beautiful illustrations, @ania_jopp for sentimental analog photos, Harpeet Ahadi for cool poster and promo materials, @jessinbudapest for being the best proofreader and my dear friend @einarowski for creative cover and online version of this magazine. I hope you enjoy this issue! If you have any questions, comments feel free to share it. 🥳💕
The Spoiled Queen is back! In the past 3 months I was not active on my social media due to various reasons. One of them was a big need of taking a break from my website in order to prepare a better content for you. Most of my summer I spent in Varosliget which is one of the best parks in Budapest. I got drunk several times in my favorite bar #pántlika which I would like to strongly recommend. This retro place housed in a Communist era kiosk dating back to the 1970’ offers great food and drinks plus gigs hosted by various artists. Funny fact: if some of you watched on Netflix show “The Spy” there is a scene featuring Pantlika (majority of episodes have been filmed in Budapest!). Check it out! ✨🥳
Some days ago editors from one of really cool, UK magazine asked me to write a love letter to Budapest which will be later published on their website. I decided to engage my followers who live in Budapest or who visit this city and share their comments too. Thank you all for your answers - all of them have been included in my article which should be published in the middle of April. I will definitely share this piece with you! 💕☀️🌷
Together with @ania_jopp we have started a new project showcasing Budapest entrepreneurs! It will be a series of interviews with Hungarinas and expats who have established their business in Hungary😊🖤 First interview with great photographer @ladybirdcreative Check it out and let me know what do you think about this idea?
It was definitely one of the best and most inspiring trip. February issue - fully devoted to Athens is now available on my website! (Link in bio). Big thanks to my wonderful friends @einarowski for being the best art director @jessinbudapest for making the text more beautiful and my drummer @slyjuhas for being part of my crazy adventures 🥰🥳 Love you mucho guys! Let me know if you like this edition! ☀️🌴♥️ .
Let's have a drink! The Spoiled Queen magazine June issue is out! You might be wondering what a day in the life of a journalist looks like? Six days, five cities, one backpack and a poly bag from Lidl..together with my incredible photographer @arwinfernandez we were traveling from one place to another including Madrid, Seville, Conil de la Frontera, Malaga and Cádiz to find for you the best hotels (thank you @coolroomshotels @palaciovillapanes and @corraldelrey for having us - it was a blast!) delicious food joints, great hang outs, street art and of course fashion boutiques. We invited for this issue our irreplaceable contributor @ania_jopp who not only takes fantastic analog photos but seems to be a good writer and designer as well! She revealed some great stories about Galicia region specially for The Spoiled Queen followers. I hope you like this issue and share some love 💕
“Oh my God, what if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, or 70, and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your tights were jiggling and you have a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart. Don’t let this happen.” by @paoloraeli
